Operating system: Windows NT
PHP version: 4.0.0
PHP Bug Type: Oracle related
Bug description: ORA-06401 NETCMN: invalid driver designator
The resolution to this problem was discovered by visiting php.faqts.
Convert end of lines in tnsnames.ora from DOS to UNIX
This would indicate that there is a bug with the parsing performed by PHP4...
oddly enough PHP3 works like a beauty either way!
