I am assuming that we are testing the odbc functions against a solid
database, since the solid functions are now deprecated...

I can send out a general call for Solid testers. Also, I could write Solid
IT and see if they would donate a copy for non-production testing.

Would anyone have any objections to me doing this? Or would it be better
for one of the developers to write - the message will seem more valid
coming from someone with a title.

We would need to find a few places the software to live - but this should
not be a big problem.
