Informix extension is very unstable. I suspect that it always has been.
Anyway, I am integrating a Metabase driver contribute by a Informix user and
with Metabase driver conformance test suite Informix extension is crashing
PHP a lot. There seems to be a lot of memory trashing and implementation
inconsistencies.

I don't have enough time to look into PHP Informix extension code but I am
doing my best to provide sample scripts with the bug reports that I am
posting and hopefully have this addressed soon.
