[PHP-DEV] PHP-4.0.1pl2 is failing From: Alex Kamalov (alexk <email protected>)

Guys,

I am trying to compile PHP-4.0.1 for apache-1.3.12 but it is failing. I looked at devshed.com and there were couple of people who got this message but so far failed to resolve it in any way. I am sending my config log and make debug output for you who wants to take a look and hint me to a right direction.

Here it is about my computer:

RH 6.1 linux-2.4.0-test5
glibc-2.1.3
apache-1.3.12
php-4.0.1pl2
egcs-2.91.66

I would tremendously appreciate if someone would give me a hint. I am struggling since yesterday to compile... but without a success.

Lewis Bergman and Rasmus Lerdorf were kind enough to point out some of the mistakes I've made. But so far I've not been able to compile... :((
