I am not sure where to go from here... as you can see from the following error, I have included every possible instance for the mysql header files path, as well as for imap, but nothing I have done seems to work. Could this be a bug? I keep seeing alot of others on either the usenet, or other sites with the same problem and no one has an answer.

configure: error: Cannot find header files under /usr/bin/mysql:/usr/lib/mysql:/usr/include/mysql:/usr/local/mysql:/usr/share/mysql
./php4.configure: --with-gd=/usr/include: No such file or directory
./php4.configure: --enable-libgcc: command not found
./php4.configure: --with-dom=/usr/lib: No such file or directory
./php4.configure: --with-imap=/usr/include/imap: No such file or directory
