  Mac OS X's cp is NetBSD's cp:

        [bartleby:~] wsanchez% ident /bin/cp
        /bin/cp:
             $NetBSD: cp.c,v 1.24 1998/08/19 01:29:11 thorpej Exp $
             $NetBSD: utils.c,v 1.15 1998/08/19 01:29:11 thorpej Exp $

  It's not cp; the _filesystem_ is case-insensitive.
