Hola amigos de PHP:
Somos un grupo de la Universidad Tecnologica Nacional (Argentina) y estamos
realizando un investigacion sobre el funcinamient
o de IBM DB2 para Linux.
El problema que nos acoge es el siguiente:
Tenemos instalado un servidor RED HAT 6.2 sobre el cual esta intalado un DB2
UDB 7.1 funcinando normalmente. Nuestro problema es que no sabemos como
utilizar toda la potencia de PHP para acceder a las tablas del DB2. Lo que
queremos realizar es un script PHP para conectarnos y acceder al DB2 para
crear consultas a la base. Los puntos que nos gustaria en que nos ayuden
son:
Que paquetes son necesario para realizarlo?.
Necesitamos alguna especie de JDBC para conectarnos a la base con PHP?
Que pasos necesitamos realizar para instalar el PHP con soporte para el IBM
DB2?
Cuales funciones son las mas interesantes para esta conexion que queremos
realizar?
Y todo lo que a ustedes se les ocurra que nos puede ser utilidad en esta
investigacion que estamos realizando
Desde ya les estaremos eternamente agredicidos por la ayuda que nos brinden
y perdonen la ignorancia que tenemos sobre el tema pero nadie nace sabiendo.
