This was: "Re: [PHP-DEV] Annotated Manual" but needs a
new subject line now :)

I agree with the lines I deleted. But:

We need all the functionality lost by dropping the
popups, and quickref -- which is the best of all --
is not on that page... Also I am not seeing the PHP
logo as a good part of that redesign as is...

But it shows a good base to work on.

I would contribute some of my time to work with the new site,
if needed.
