Hey guys,

I'm working on converting some perl modules at use Unicode::String
into PHP. One of the modules uses UTF-16 encoding.

I notice that you two authored the /ext/xml/xml.c file, which has
the utf8_* functions. There is a note in there that UTF-16 isn't
supported.

I'm wondering if thats because you never coded it, or if there is
some deeper reason for not supporting it. If it's the former,
then I'll code it myself and submit it to CVS.
