[PHP-DEV] PHP Business Pack From: James Moore (jmoore <email protected>)

Hi,

Somthing that a lot of people have been asking for in various places is
reasons for using PHP commerically. I thought that I would try and gather as
much information as possible together and put together a bussiness pack on
why to use PHP commercialy.

What I would like to include is:
        - Costs of Development/Deployment
        - Comparing ease of use/speed against other scripting langs.
        - PHP in a commercial enviroment
        - Scaleability (Please no application server stuff)
        - Some benchmarks
        - Case Studies of existing solutions
        - Anything else anybody thinks is relavant

I think if we got this into one place at either zend.com or php.net it would
help a lot of people. If you have any ideas for things to be included/links
to good articles could you please email them to me and I will make a start
on it and see what I can come up with. Im mainly sending this to try to get
a bit of a brain storm going to see what people think would be useful in a
pack such as this.
