What kind scalability are you interested in? Number of sites? Cross-server
sites? Farming techniques?

Other ideas:
Head to head code comparisons are nice ways of showing ease of use...
For example, passing three form variables and sending and email from
a result. In PHP, it's 5-10 lines. CF/Perl/ASP, it's much more complex.

Cost of add-ons: Choose some CF/ASP add-ons, and compare price to PHP
add-ons. (Templating code, credit card validation, etc.)
