Hi,

I'm new to this list, please forgive any protocol fault.

I'm new to PHP too (I come from Microsoft products) and I'm trying to work with PHP, MySQL and things like that. My first problem is to find a good hosting service, I've tried I couple them but, their technical support is not as good as I like,

or maybe I'm really stupid?, imagine that I asked one of them 'How should I execute PHP?' and they told me 'you have to modify the apache handlers' Am I supposed to know how to modify them? I have a Control Panel and I can modify mime types but, what should I write as the handler? is it so easy for you doing it?
(I have PHP running in my computer with the personal server from microsoft, then I have some PHP code running, I've installed neoboard with other provider -many problems, but it's almost working- then I know the basics about PHP programming, well, I think)

Anyway, I'm looking for a good hosting provider and I'm looking for real bad ones (to avoid falling in their hands), What Am I looking for? PHP4, IMAP module compiled into PHP and MySQL support.

I agree with some of you, webhosting providers are there for the hardware and communications but, then, do you know about any company who can offer my additional technical support?
