Description: Swedish characters in session-variables can appear differently

It seems that the problem still exists in 4.0.4pl1.
So I would like to open this bug-report again.

Session variables containing едц on a systems not supporting these characters can change when saved to /tmp folder. While they are in memory they are perfectly Ok.

It appears that some function is using a shell-call or something to read the contents of the stored session-variables instead of using a normal read.

At least this is my interpretation of the error.

Input is taken from <input> -fields and output is generated like <input value="<?=$sessionvariable?>">
