This is a the little warning you have there
(notice the first paragraph):

*** IMPORTANT WARNING ***

IRCG WILL NOT WORK WITH APACHE OR ANY OTHER WEB-SERVERS
OTHER THAN THOSE DESCRIBED BELOW.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND ENQUIRIES TO THE AUTHOR BY ANY MEANS
CONCERNING UNSUPPORTED CONFIGURATIONS OR ANY OTHER
SUPPORT QUESTIONS. WHEN AND IF APPROPIATE, CONTACT THE
REGULAR PHP MAILING LISTS OR, AT YOUR DISCRETION, ASK ON
THE IRCG MAILING LIST.

*** IMPORTANT WARNING ***

So, does it or does it not work with other web servers
than thttpd? Or what do you mean by that note?

Now, being productive in between all these nasty emails,
(You're so easily baited, you know? :) I propose that you
first: Don't shout (like you said to me) in that warning.
People are not blind. It's really annoying to read
long sentences in capital letters.

Here's IMO better way of putting that:

*** IMPORTANT WARNING ***

IRCG does _NOT_ work with Apache or any other web server
than those described below.

Please send your support questions to these mailing lists:

php-general <email protected> (support for the PHP extension)
<insert ircg mailing list address here> (support for IRCG itself)

Send bug reports and patches to the author.

*** IMPORTANT WARNING ***
