Its now ready. There are only some spurious characters in
phpdoc/fr/functions/strings.xml. Make said:

Please use a newer front page, I'm now also an editor. If you use an
editor which is called emacs or XEmacs you can fix the indentation very
easy with the tab-key or wrap long lines with 'Meta q'.

partir de la documentation en Anglais originale du PHP documentation
Group, au format XML, grâce à une version adaptée de texi.
