Maybe using some kind of procmail-stuff could help? =)

And as those emails from bug database have helped with staying up to date
with bugs why wouldn't it help with docs? As someone suggested, there
could be similar interface for administering those too like bug-reports.

But this was just an idea.

Aren't those annotations kept in a database?

And about translations..there isn't anyone working or interested in
working with finnish translation of the manual? I know that there is a
demand for it. I myself am not that fluent with english.. =)
