I do not think that tutorials should be included in the manual... they
should be separately maintained and linked from the appropriate places. The
manual is a large enough document already.

No - we got here due to the dilligent work of many gifted people.
That is what has set this project apart from many other projects - both
closed and open source.
Moderate amounts of planning help people work together more effectively. It
helps reduce the number of changes required after work has been performed.
