I realize that there is little to nothing that we can do about
what this guy has already done...
My comment was simply that maybe the GNU FDL is more appropriate
than the GPL for the manual. It allows for things like invariant
sections (things that you cannot change/remove) and such that makes it a
bit better suited to documentation than the GPL, which simply talks
about the availability of the SOURCE.
I am a bit of a "GNU-ist", though. Maybe the OPL is better for
the needs of the PHP Docs...just my two bits.
