In the Spanish PHP list Juan Jose Sanchez asked about the legality
issues on downloading the full on-line manual, including annotations
on a weekly basis (each Friday) to a local machine.

I think that it shouldn't be a problem because of the GPL license for
the manual, but I would like to get some feedback for him. His e-mail
is: juanjo.listas <email protected>

I recommended him to maybe talk to the webmaster at php.net to arrange
for mirroring.

Hola!

Alguien sabe si es ilegal redistribuir el manual anotado de PHP ?

Me explico: Yo prefiero el manual que hay en www.php.net/manual en
donde
hay anotaciones de la gente, al que ofrecen para descargar en ZIP sin
anotaciones y sin graficos.

Asi que, tengo programado mi servidor para que cada viernes de
madrugada
replique ese manual y asi tenerlo yo en local con todas sus
anotaciones.
Asi consigo una exploracion rapida, por contra, es dificil buscar algo
en
concreto.

Se me ha ocurrido dejar el ZIP (unos 80Mb en total de manual) en el
servidor para que quien quiera se lo baje. Cada viernes esta la ultima
version de esa semana. Pero no se si eso seria ilegal.

Alguien sabe algo de esto ?
