Will people please start checking the archives before posting
these questions? If there is a problem with the list, then the
archives most likely won't have new messages either. If the
archives have new messages, then the list probably isn't dead.
In this case, the messages haven't been added to the archives, so
the list is obviously down and all these wasted postings should
have been avoided.

quite. Is the mailing list server having problems similar to
