strange. i don't think it's worth worrying about.

yes, this is using nwalsh's stylesheets. xt died on it, too, and
apparently it is considered 'frozen' so i didn't even begin to look at
debugging it. i figured the xalan guys would be more eager to make it
work.

same for me, although i did get a not-completely-unreasonable-looking pdf
out of it (http://www.php.net/~jimw/manual-from-fop.pdf).
