Hi,
I think it's better to _not_ make <type>integer</type> etc. bold, but only
make it a link. Preferably in some other color (it's a sort of glossary
term).
Now it really looks as if there is something very importent when a type is
mentioned, and that's not really the case.
I tried if I could change it myself, to check it, but I got 3k+ errors...
I did however fix the layout of the file a bit, to make it better readable.

Btw: the manual didn't build because cvs update does NOT retrieve
new directories... The <?php didn't have anything to do with that.
