That seemed a good idea to me too, but we have to keep in mind that
showing old syntax will make users use it, and that's not what we
want too.
May be, we could set up an appendix for this? Or, set up a special
paragraph at beginning of chapters (such as mysql) that holds old
syntax.
I would rather go for appendix, with links to new syntaxe. This way,
it won't be into hands of beginner, while available for gurus.
