[PHP-DOC] cvs [server aborted] From: alan (haden <email protected>)

I have translate the file http.xml
I have executed the cvs login with my username

cvs -d :pserver:my_username <email protected>:/repository

and have insert the password
but when I write the instruction

cvs add http.xml

from directory phpdoc/it/functions
cvs answers

cvs [server aborted]: "add" requires write access to the repository

My account it does not have the appropriate permissions or I have mistaken
something?
