fixed in CVS,
the script generating the index file
didn't work with short_tags on

For reasons unknown, the latest release of the PHP documentation
tarball is missing a functions index, which used to be called
index.functions.html. Given that there's no search function on the
local DB, it was extremely useful to have that around.
