it is Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).

I thought it was "UTC"

php documentation for function gmdate states:
gmdate -- Format a GMT/CUT date/time

This should however probably be:
gmdate -- Format a GMT/UCT date/time

Typo in UCT (CUT).
