Hi to all,
I have heard several thinks about the speed of the new PHP4 module and I
wanted to test it practice.
I created a dual installation of PHP4 and PHP3 and an ODBC application. I'm
using a total script of 70KB+ size so the interpreted nature of PHP should
have problems with that.
My impression is that PHP3 is SUPERIOR to PHP4 as far as speed is concerned.
The result was clear but I don't now if it must be atributed to the ODBC or
the script engine.
Does anyone experienced anything similar????
Do I have to touch anything to speed up PHP4???
