[PHP] Installing GD From: Adam Charnock (adamcharnock <email protected>)

Hi all. Can anyone tell me how to install GD for PHP4 onto my Linux server
running Apace? The one at their site seems to require compiling which I
don't have much experience with.

I know this is a very general question, but if someone could just give me
some pointers I would be very grateful.
