I've installed php4.1pl2, gd 1.3 & apache 1.3.12 onto several FreeBSD boxes, and it went without a hitch on each of them. I just followed that standard instrructions. I've installed both a static module and DSO module without trouble. These boxes are running FreeBSD 3.2 and 3.3. Sorry, I've no experience with with java but have found FreeBSD to be nothing less then impressive.

We're probably moving to FreeBSD as a server platform soon. I was wondering if
there are any gotcha's installing php4 onto this platform. All my experience is
with linux. Also, can this platform support the php4/java combination?
