[PHP] compiling apache with php From: John Miller (johndmiller <email protected>)

I have compiled apache and uncommented the AddType in the httpd.conf. I
have down loaded the binary version of the RPM for php. I have found the
libphp4.so. It is located in the /usr/local/apache/ directory. I have
been following a recent thread on this list but am stuck with the AddModule
mod_php4.so. I don't have that file. Would I be better unloading the RPM
and download and tarbar of the source and compiling from that or is there a
better way.

I am new at this so all help is greatly appreciated.
