Very good question, are you using sessions? If you are you could keep track
of how many sessions are open, this could tell you how many people are
online at your site.

And an extra note to Joao Prado Maia, the ass comment was not all that nice
and you yourself guesses at what our friend wanted and you were wrong. All I
was asking was more information to help.
