Hi there,
I installed PHP4 and Apache by following the instructions on PHP4 manual,
"Installation on Unix Systems". Next I installed PostgreSQL 6.5.3 from the
RPM archives. I am getting "Undefined function calls" when trying to call
pg_connect(). That makes sense to me, but I would like to know if is it
mandatory to install Postgres from the sources to make it work with PHP, or
if is it OK to install it from RPMs and then just modify some PHP
configuration file in order to make PHP recognize the Postgres RPM
installation.
If the later is possible, how can I accomplish this?
Many thanks in advance,
Jorge Alvarez.
