[PHP] getting the header when retrieving an html file From: willem (willem <email protected>)

hi,

I'm makeing an php script whicht checks ouwer
servers for html files which aren't there or are broken
in some way(the are all in a copel of fcgi's). now most
of the checks I want are already in the program. only one
isn't. but for the php part that needs to open an socket
to the server and get the header line(I hope you know it
usally it looks some thing like this:"HTTP/1.1 200 OK")
I could get any usefull info about how to do this in the
php tutoral I got

I use php 4
