[PHP-INST] 4.0.0 works, 4.0.1 doesn't? From: Cort Danger Stratton (cort <email protected>)

After spending three weeks getting PHP 4.0.0 working, they go and
release a maintainance release, and when I try to install that it
crashes apache.

I'm not even enabling any funky options at all -- just:

./configure --with-apxs=/path/to/apxs ; make install

this is apache 1.3.12 on redhat 6.1 i386

any suggestions? sympathy?
