I think i may have solved my problem getting LDAP support into PHP3.

I used the openLDAP files instead of the Netscape ones .. and php3 built find.

I'm still wary of php4 as i was getting memory leeks within the sybase code .. poor webserver was trying to allocate around 1.5GB of memory!
