Yes it does. Go to edit -> preferences -> HTML
Rewriting and add your PHP extensions to the list of
files next to "Never Rewrite HTML". PHP code should
show up in an ASP-like invisible tag that says "php"
For syntax highlighting, the best thing would be to
configure an external editor for PHP files and then
use something like editplus from www.editplus.com...
