That means that there is some output done before the session is
inicialized...
It can also be possible that the target web server is with a diferent
configuration then your local machine. It is a known fact that some PHP
versions are VERY bugged with regards to sessions (i think php 4.2.3
that shipped with one of the red hat linux distros was such - possible
corrected by now, but in the world at large... it may exist still)
Compare the configurations and you may be on the way to correct the
problem... (try to emulate in the local server the same configuration)...
