[PHP3] MSSql server and extended caracters From: Adelino Monteiro (adelino <email protected>)

Hello,

I'm using PHP3 with MSSql server sucessfully for some time now. Recently
I've come across a little problem (well sort of..). I have a table
with some text fields that contain portuguese caracters (ASCII value > 128).

No when I do some selects in Linux these caracters are not printed correctly.
Is there some way to indicate the codepage to use when retrieving the
results as there is with ODBC access ?

For now the only solution I have is to do a manual conversion ... definitely not
the best solution.

Using Linux, PHP 3.0.3 with Apache 1.3.1

 The software said it requires Win95 or better, so I installed Linux.
