Please check the php archives for information on this. There have been
multiple long threads on this topic. Subject Lines included
        Editing PHP files, and
        Good Editor for PHP under Linux?

I really don't want to see rude, but lately there have been more
and more questions sent to the list that could have been answered by
searching the archives.

You may also want to check out freshmeat.net, as there have been many
nice editors announced there. As a whole, its a really good site for
linux users.
