I am using tpl_form, and BLOB, too.

I'd like to have some feedback on my BLOB proposed implementation, failing
that I suppose it could be moved to unsup or removed. If others think this
is a good start, I'll try to document it (even if it's very close to Sascha
proposal).

What do you mean by that? Here in Italy flood are quite common these days,
but earthquakes and other biblical special FX are still lacking... 8-)

Ok, I'll review the docu to update to my small changes. Actual
implementation does break compatibility: $auth->auth["uname"] is
no longer updated when default auth is selected (i.e.: if auth["uid"]
== nobody then auth["uname"] is not guaranteed to contain useful
values. In previous implementation auth["uname"] would be set to
"nobody").
