Hum, by the way: I think the documentation is one of the most important
problems of PHPLIB. Ok, ok, I must take me by my own nose (query_sql
documentation is a desert :-/ ).
But there is a reason: I have no idea how to write the documention in sgml
without a helping tool. Are there any editors for Linux? Because writing
this with an editor like vi, joe or emacs without any help is really a
pain. And if this is with me, perhaps others have the same problem.
I'm really one of those guys which want to document everything, but the
afford for the syntax and the surroundings must be kept in a limit. And
so, the programm-code is currently the best place to keep the
documentation.
PS: How about converting it to docbook? I think the chance that there are
tools for it is much better...
