[PHPLIB] OOH Forms - extending for editing or deleting data From: David Nind (David.Nind <email protected>)

I was wondering if anyone has extended OOH Forms for editing and deleting database information.

I find OOH Forms good for creating, displaying and validating forms, but as everyone knows you need to either edit or delete records at some stage.

I can't seem to work out how to do this easily with OOH Forms - if there is a way I haven't been able to make it work or figure it out (as I am just a dabbler in web databases, not a programmer, that may not be surprising!).

If anyone has either extended OOH Forms or has another class/classes that do this or any other pointers in the right direction that would be great - in the meantime I will do it the long way. (I have checked the mailing list archive.)

I would also be willing to work on something that would do this (either extending OOH Forms or coming up with something new) - but I'm sure it must have been done at some stage by someone.

By the way I find the PHPLIB an excellent set of tools (along with Php, MySQL and Apache) - it has made my work a lot easier once I got a handle on it.

Regards.
