[PHPLIB] .htaccess and include dir From: Billy Childish (php4 <email protected>)

Hi all,

Im trying to run phplib on my ISP's server. So, I cant edit the
php.ini file. I know my way arounds things pretty well, so I believe
what I have in my .htaccess is correct.

php3_auto_prepend_file
"/home/sh/shagy/public_html/php/include/prepend.php3"
php3_include_path "/home/sh/shagy/public_html/php/include"

>From what I gather should should work. But, I get 500 errors when
trying to get to my site. Everything about the .htaccess is fine,
perms whatnot. As well as any of my directories, nothing set wrong in
the absolute path.

There are no other active .htaccess files in the dir structure.

All the files inside of the php dir in the phplib package, are inside
of /home/sh/shagy/public_html/php/include.

I think there might be something going on with the configuration of
apache or php that is keeping from getting this to work with my
htaccess. So is that possible?

Server is running....
PHP Version 3.0.5
MySQL 3.21.17a-beta
Apache/1.2.6

The include_path and auto_prepend_file are both blank (master and
local), according to php_info()
