RE: [PHPLIB] Users have to login several times From: Alan Meadows (alan <email protected>)

I am having a similar problem. I've just set up PHPLIB and don't pretend
to be any kind of expert so I'm sure I've done something wrong...

My test page (call it alan.php3) uses the regular page_open() call with
SESS, AUTH, USER and PERM defined. When I first hit the page (with a clean,
new browser), I get a login box (which I should). After I enter the login
info, the URL shows 'alan.php3?example_session=<some session id>' and the
page presents me another login combo. After entering the same username/pw I
get the page I was wanting but with no ?example_session="" in the URL.

Does this behavior sound familiar? Am I forcing a duplicate lookup because
of the objects I specify in page_open()?

I am using SUSe linux and MySQL. My client is IE 5+.

Thanks,
-Alan

Subject: [PHPLIB] Users have to login several times

My server is running Redhat 5.2, Apache and Oracle-client,
for Oracle 8.0.5 which is my PHPLIB-database. I have PHPLIB 6.1.

Some of my users have to do a login several times before they can start
working... and some doesn't... Have anyone met this problem before ?

Most of my users use Internet Explorer 4 or 5.

Best regards
