I just solved this one. You shouldn't use --with-oci8 anymore, just the plain old --with-oracle. The configure script will figure out which version of Oracle is installed. That's all!!

Subject: [phplib] PHPLIB and Oracle

Hi *,

I am setting up a Linux box wit Apache + php3 (as module) + PHPLIB + Oracle 8i. I compiled php --with-oci8, but if I try an ocilogon(), I get the error:

Fatal error: Call to unsupported or undefined function ocilogon() in ...
If someone of you knows why, please help me!!
TIA
Francesco
