I believe that phplib provides support to Oracle 8i since there is an "oci8"
selection.

Does anyone knows if there is limitation on the size of the query passed to
phplib using oci8? Although the gif image that I passed in isn't that big,
I thought I have seen an error before complaining about the size of certain
locator? Not too sure what it is talking about.

Well, if the phplib db functinality is supposed to provide a transparent
way to work with all types of supported dbs, maybe the answer lies in
the phplib interacts with the oracle db...I know, master of the
obvious. Is that db supported by your version of php?
