It's an Extension package of utilities written in PHP that allow you to do a lot of things like Template, Authentication, Sessions - and many many other things, (All is revealed on http://phplib.netuse.de).
I don't mind other conversation concerning php except when someone thinks they can go around being arsy when he is in the wrong anyway, which was what I wanted to point out.
Don't know of any other php lists than the big one, except in other languages. But saying that I believe they have split it up now in to several smaller ones, but not sure if it is working or not, still was a mass of emails when I was last there. For some reason I just stoped getting emails from the PHP ilst but am still signed up, never had time to sort that out though.
Oh by the way you can get the PHP list on newsgroups also if that is easier to sort through.
Nick

Oops, I thought this was a PHP forum too. I'm pretty new to server-side languages. What is PHPlib exactly??
Oh, and thanx for the info Aaron. I got the uploads working just after sending the mail, but as for the .htaccess, when I put them into a folder, and then tried accessing a page in it, it gave an error page! not a PHP error or anything, a page actually written by my host. Maybe they don't allow http authentication? maybe they goofed up? maybe just a spur-of-the-moment thing? Well, I'll sort it out. Thanx again!
Anyone know of any PHP forums? (other than the php.net one that has 150-200 mails per day!!!)
