[phplib] newbie problem with session.inc - uninitialised var (sid) in line 396 From: Mikey (frak <email protected>)

Sorry if this has been answered a million times, but I couldn't find
anything in the archive...

I am running PHP3.0.16 on Win98 SE/PWS using mySQL as the database. I
installed phplib as per the instructions (copied php folder to d:\Inetpub,
moved HTML to wwwroot, ammended php3.ini to reflect both include and prepend
changes, set up PWS to run index.php3 by default, ran sql on database) but
when I try to view index.php3 IE5 reports page not found/DNS error.

I have looked in the error log file and the following errors are reoprted:

PHP 3 Warning: Uninitialized variable or array index or property (sid) in
session.inc on line 396
PHP 3 Warning: Uninitialized variable in session.inc on line 96

Can anyone help?
