I have been using phpwebhosting services and i'm pretty satisfied with them.
I'm on the same server as Arne (huck.phpwebhosting.com). I work in the
evenings and I have been happy with performance.

I had some problems in the beginning because their server went down several
times, but the problems seem to have been corrected.

I find their setup to be very easy. They have phpMyAdmin installed, which
enables you to manage your MySQL dbs through a browser interface, which is
very handy. You can also setup multiple subdomains for free, ie addresses
such as resources.mydomain.com, which is very convenient.

Support response times are slow, but for $10/month I have not found any
hosting service that provides immediate support.
