http://perl.apache.org is the mod_perl home.
Believe me, there are modules out the yang-yang that do for perl what
phplib does for php (eg. Apache::Session, Apache::AuthenDBI), there
are lots of modules for embedding perl directly into html (eg.
Apache::ASP, HTML::Mason, HTML::Embperl), oohform's functionality is
in CGI.pm, and there are more templating systems than you can shake a
stick at. But go ahead, what's one more?

Subject: [phplib] PHPLib and Perl
Hi List,
I want to implement PHPLib Session Management (and other things like
auth, perms etc) in Perl. I was wondering if anyone knows if
such a library already exists for perl. If I were to do it, what are
the key ideas I should bear in mind while porting, so that the
basic functionality is not affected.
Thank you
